Luciano Pavarotti (1935-2007) is an international cultural icon that represents opera and its grandness. Even after his death in 2007, he is crowned as the "King of the Tenors". Tanisha will explore Pavarotti's life from his humble beginnings in Modena, Italy, to his rise to stardom.

Inspired to sing professionally while singing in a male voice choir with his father, Fernando Pavarotti in the 1950s
Made is major debut as Rodolfo in Puccini’s La bohème in 1961
Toured with the legendary Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge in the 1960s
Made his Metropolitan Opera debut with Mirella Freni in 1968
The 1970s and 80s were filled with prestigious awards for Pavarotti that sealed exposure and connection to pop culture. Awards included multiple Grammys, an Emmy and a People's Choice Award.
